Applying Header for Specific Pages or the Entire Website

Estimated reading: 2 minutes 102 views

In the PicTech WordPress Theme, you have the flexibility to set headers for specific pages, posts, archives, or the entire website. This feature is helpful if you want to maintain a consistent header throughout your site or apply different headers to different sections for a more tailored experience.

Steps to Apply Header in PicTech Theme

  1. Access Header Settings
    • Go to the WordPress Dashboard > Appearance > Elementor Header & Footer Builder.
    • Here, you will see the list of available headers.
  2. Edit a Specific Header
    • Find the header you want to apply and click the Edit button to open its settings in the Elementor Header & Footer Builder.
  3. Set Display Options
    • In the settings, locate the Display On option. This allows you to specify where the header will appear:
      • Entire Website – Apply the header to every page across your site.
      • Specific Pages – Apply the header to selected pages, posts, or archives.
  4. Apply Display Rules and Exclusion Rules
    • You can use Display Rules to specify where the header should appear and Exclusion Rules to prevent it from showing on specific pages or posts when the header is set for the “Entire Website.”
  5. Set Header by User Role
    • If needed, you can set the header to display for specific users (Admin, Moderator, Editor) by adjusting the User Role setting.
  6. Save Changes
    • After making the necessary adjustments, click the Update button to save your settings.

Tips 💡

  • If you want a consistent header across the entire website, select Entire Website in the Display On tab.
  • For a custom experience, choose specific pages or sections in the Display On settings to show unique headers on different pages.
