Installing Required Plugins

Some plugins are required for the full functionality of the PicTech WordPress Theme. Follow these steps to install them:

Automatic Plugin Installation

  • When you activate PicTech, a notification will appear to install the required plugins.
  • Click on Begin Installing Plugins.
  • Select all plugins and click Install.

Install Required Plugins

  • Codestar Framework (for theme options)
  • Contact Form 7 (for creating contact forms)
  • Elementor (for drag-and-drop page building)
  • Elementor Header & Footer Builder (for creating custom headers and footers)
  • MC4WP: Mailchimp for WordPress (for Mailchimp integration)
  • One Click Demo Import (for importing demo content)
  • Pictech Toolkit (specific to PicTech theme functionality)

4. Activating Plugins

  1. Once all plugins are installed, go to Plugins > Install Plugins.
  2. Activate each installed plugin by clicking Activate under each plugin name.

Your PicTech theme and necessary plugins are now fully installed and activated. In the next steps, you will import the demo pages to fully set up your website.

Manual Plugin Installation

We understand that due to differences in server environments, the plugin installer may encounter issues while installing all required plugins. To ensure a smooth installation process, we have included the necessary plugins within the theme package for users convenience.

The PicTech Toolkit plugin is included in both the single theme file and the full theme package. You can find it in the following directory:

pictech-wp\inc\plugins

If you encounter errors such as:

  • “The package could not be installed. No valid plugins were found.”
  • “Plugin doesn’t install.”

You can manually install the plugin by following these steps:

  1. Locate the plugin inside the theme folder or the theme package downloaded from your ThemeForest (TF) account.
  2. Upload the extracted plugin file (e.g., Pictech-Toolkit.zip) to your WordPress site via the Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin option.
  3. Activate the plugin after installation.
